India is a mysterious country of hundreds of languages, delicious exotic food and the most atmospheric railways in the world. Today you can take a closer look at India's rich and fantastic culture.
As it turns out, Indian people are fond of breaking all records..
#1: According to some researches, India is going to overtake China and become the most populous country on the planet by 2022

#2: More than 400 languages are spoken in the country.
Some people believe Indians have a natural ability to succeed in several languages. How many official languages does your country have? In India, there is an official language for each of the 29 states! And each one is different... Can you imagine?
#3: The population of some Indian cities is bigger than that of some countries
23 million of people live in New Delhi. Another 23 million of people are the residents of Mumbai. Still not surprised? Imagine that 24 million of people live in Australia! And the population of Ireland is, for example, only 4 million of people.
#4: The first rocket launched by Indian Scientists was transported on a bicycle. And it reached the stars!
Later the rockets got bigger and heavier, so they weren't delivered to the launch site this way. Anyway, the bicycle episode became history.
#5: There is a post office floating on the water in India
It was opened in 2011 on the Srinagar’s Dal lake. By the way, India's postal network is one of the largest on the planet.
#7: India is both the largest consumer and producer of Mangoes on the planet
Indians annually produce approximately 18 millions of tons of mangoes! Everybody in India loves mangoes regardless of their age, race or gender.
#8: India breaks records even in breaking records!
India is the Third Highest Ranker in breaking records amongst all the countries of the world!
#10: 100 million years ago India was an island, which then collided with Asia and formed Himalayas, creating the world's highest mountain range
So, to some extent, India gave birth to the world's highest mountain, which is also record-breaking!
