Computers and cell phones have already changed our everyday life. According to the scientists, in 20 years, humans won't need a lot of things we use on a daily basis now. Read on to find out more.
Today, most vaccines are delivered with a needle. In fact, such injections are quite expensive, which makes it hard to provide necessary care in developing countries. After all, many people are afraid of needles. As it turns out, the need for needles can be entirely eliminated one day. A new technology that could completely replace syringes is already being developed.
What does it look like? New vaccines are delivered by laying a tiny microneedle patch onto one's finger. The patches are made of dissolvable material, which means that they will dissolve straight away. The new technology is more effective and much cheaper than needle-delivered vaccines. Clinical trials already took place, and the results are promising.
Unmanned aerial vehicle are already used to transport packages in China, Japan, the UAE, and the USA. Such a way of delivering goods is gaining popularity, which means that one day drones can completely replace delivery services.
Biometric technoligy will redefine the identity authentication very soon. A lot of devices that can recognize people by facial features and fingerprints are already popular. Moreover, biometric technology is actively used by governments, law enforcement and banking industry. Very soon biometric signatures will become legal, and handwritten signatures will die out.
CDs and DVDs have already become irrelevant - today we can store information in the Cloud or use on-demand television technologies. Memory sticks are facing extinction now, and they are likely to disappear in 10 years or earlier. Using online cloud storage removes the need for a physical device and doesn't cost much - a lot of such services are even free. Anyway, one serious advantage of memory sticks is that you don't need the Internet to access your information.
According to a 2016 poll, only 10% of Americans use cash for all their purchases. Credit and debit cards are extremely popular today, but plastic cards will also become obsolete in a couple of decades. We already can use our smartphones and other gadgets to pay, and in the near future even these technologies will be replaced by biometric payment. Can you imagine that it will be possible to make a payment with the blink of an eye?
The first contact lenses were invented in the 19th century, and still many people prefer glasses. But as laser eye surgery becomes less invasive and more financially accessible, it may phase out glasses one day.
House keys are going to disappear very soon - modern smart houses already have key card readers instead of physical locks. Again, facial recognition or fingerprint can also be used to unlock doors.
According to a research, TV viewers spend up to two weeks looking for a remote over their lifetime. This problem is about to be solved for good. Today, we can use our smartphones and tablets to control TV sets, air conditioners and even fridges. Regular remote controls are becoming obsolete.

I say this is bunk because what happens to privacy and anonymity? What happens when the power goes out? This is just a way of surrendering total control of your life over to the Internet and whomever gains access to your devices and information. Certain things should not be done even though they can be done.
putting all your eggs in one basket ( tecnology ) may have it's advantage and disadvantages when all the lights go out we will not know what to do.
Not for me I'm 84 and all this modern technology is ruining the world have enough with tv remotes , iPads , mobiles , house phones , pc ,s ,remember the days when to make a phone call had to walk to the red telephone box ...to easy for fraudsters to. Fleece us I have already had to change one of my sites because somebody trying to use a illegal device ti get in .
All this modern stuff and our lift is constantly breaking down ... humbug hahaha
I don't like the idea of biometric payment. Who will stop criminals from hurting others to get control of the resources to which they have access? There will always be
criminals but this will force more extreme violence, as they cut off fingers to fake fingerprints and cut microchips out of people.
Technology is good in some cases, but for those of us that fear want is gathered by Big Brother, we'd rather protect our personal information as best we can
The laser surgery is not the be all and end all. I have had numerous laser surgeries, not to improve my vision but to keep it from getting worse due to diabetes. I will always need glasses. As the surgeon told me " This will not improve your vision but should keep you from going blind"
This was shown to the apostle John while he was on the island of Patmos 2000 years ago! Individuality will be eliminated , people will be governed as a whole! If you resist the mark you will be executed as a nonbeliever in the Antichrist! That's what all of this is leading to!
