Much of this is about US money and is not applicable to much of the world, where paper, cotton or linen notes are not used. Australia was the first country to issue polymer banknotes in 1988. It was one of the first things that I noticed when I came here that year. Different colours and slightly different length for each denomination. The latest series includes tactile features and clear windows.

🤫The Chinese like red money. Red colour to them is lucky. In the Philippines put some coins in your pocket before the 12midnight strikes for new year and shake your pocket with the coins and it will give you good luck and you’ll always have money for that year. It seems everyone tossed the coin for head and tail!! Why only coins have to save in piggy bank??🤑
